Poolside BBQs offered enjoyable evening dining options.

direct access to the pool, luxurious décor in the foyer, plentiful parking
The room felt outdated!!! Ventilation in the kitchen is poor, resulting in strong food odors!!! Late check-out policies need revising when many rooms are vacant!!! Move the table hockey game away from guest rooms!!!

Had a delightful time at Golden Tulip Nizwa! The spacious Standard Double or Twin Room offered a fantastic view of the peaceful pool area. I loved lounging by the huge swimming pool with my family. The pool bar served refreshing drinks, perfect for the hot weather. Dinners were memorable with an enticing barbecue spread, especially the grilled meat options. Breakfast had enough variety, though I wished for more vegetarian dishes. The overall atmosphere was relaxing, with the lovely gardens adding to the charm. One downside was the room showing some signs of wear, particularly in the furniture. The restaurant staff seemed new, which resulted in slightly slow service. Nonetheless, the accommodating and polite staff kept the mood positive. This hotel is a great choice for a peaceful retreat from Muscat.

The 25-meter pool was my playground, and the evening BBQ by the pool was a feast for the senses. the grilled meats were heavenly! The Arabian design of the main building made it feel like a hidden gem in the desert.
Some areas need a little facelift—the furniture felt a tad outdated. While the entertainment offered was fun, the game table looked like it had seen better days. Still, the charm of the place kept it all shining.

A refreshing escape!
The pool area was so inviting, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. I loved the in-room dining which was always on point and super hot. Only thing was, the furniture in the room could use a bit of an upgrade. Still, the staff really made the stay enjoyable.

We had an amazing time staying here with friends! The rooms were nice, and the pool was a hit, especially with the kids. We took day trips to Al Jabal Al Akhdar and enjoyed the local crafts shop. Staff were super attentive.
One downside was the limited options for vegetarian meals, which could be improved with dietary preferences.

A Memorable Stay with Delightful Dining
We had a pleasant experience enjoying the gorgeous pool area. The barbecue dinner was beautifully presented, and the delicious Filipino dishes reminded us of home. Make sure to visit the buffet breakfast for freshly made omelets and a variety of options. Don't forget to ask about local attractions!

The relaxing environment with a huge pool was a perfect oasis for recharging after exploring Oman. Dining was delightful, particularly the fresh salads and flavorful grilled meats. limited vegetarian options were disappointing, and some furniture showed signs of wear. Access to taxis made it easy to reach nearby attractions, but the location slightly far from the city center might not suit all travelers.

great pool area but limited dining options
The pool area stood out with its stunning view and relaxing atmosphere. The staff provided attentive service which made our stay comfortable. I especially enjoyed the serene garden views that enhanced the overall ambiance. The spacious Standard Double or Twin Room offered direct access to the pool, making it easy to enjoy a refreshing swim.
The buffet dinner had limited vegetarian options which could be more diverse.
